My Rant on Rares

Heya Jammers! So I know I haven't been active on this blog, but I would still like to post once in a while! Today I am going to rant about "rares". First of all, how can we even call them rares if they are available for purchase? I first started playing Jamaa right after the beta version ended. I have owned my account for about 4 years. All of the things that used to be considered rares can be bought using diamonds.
For example, I remember when the gloves came out. The AJHQ sent them in the mail and all of those who were members could keep them. Everyone would awe at legendary gloves. But now everyone is wearing them! Not so legendary, huh?
Don't get me wrong, I think it's nice to be able to buy rares once in a while. But I think the word "rare" is losing its meaning. I love when HQ comes out with new updates, and I wonder if they will decide to put other rares for purchase. In the end, I miss when these items were considered so special.
This post is not meant to offend anyone! I just want to express my opinion about rares. I would love to hear what you think about them as well! Put your ideas in the comments below!

Beta!

Hi everyone! It's me Cutelittlewolf1, I found this draft that I was meaning to post when I was still updating my blog. Hope you enjoy!

Hey Jammers! This post is all about beta! If none of you know what beta is it is when AJ first started and it was in testing. The good thing about beta was that there weren't any members so non members didn't fight about not having enough rights. I got some pictures for you that didn't know what beta looked like. I started before trading was invented, people could send gifts to nonmembers and we could accept them, and when non members could still change the clothing item color all with my friend Bella. You may know Fuzzy Shyivy's Animal Jam Rush blog, if you do you might know bellanatalie102. Bellanatalie102 and I made an account together bellanatalie101. When we started with that account we only got about one week to change the item's color, send gifts, and so on. Anyways back to beta. These are some pictures of it:

These were the dens in beta! Don't they look amazing? They actually look like awesome houses! Now we're stuck with a small house that doesn't even have enough room to fit all of our den items.....

This used to be Jamaa Township. Click the pictures to enlarge and notice how in the first picture there is a clothing sign on it pointing to what is now Club Geoz. That must have been the old Jam Mart Clothing. Also you know where the post board is now in Jamaa township? Well look at the first picture again, It looks like some kind of ancient historical figure.... I wonder what it could be...

This used to be the Seperia Forest in beta. Also notice the name tags how they were all gold. In beta, they didn't have any membership so everyone's tags looked like this.

And this was Zios. Look at the statue in the picture. It is a monkey, not the statue we have today in Zios. I'm not sure if you slept around it phantoms would come out but I don't think it was that developed yet.

Here is what the Chamber of Knowledge used to look like. If you look at the game icon for the game on the left, it has a picture of the game icon today on a piece of paper being held up with two sticks.

This was the old Crystal Sands. Look to the left of the 2nd picture and you'll see a blue arrow. I'm guessing that was a sign for another land you could go to.

Isn't it cool how every item was much cheaper? The skullies were only 10 gems! I could buy 4,000 of those skullies (i'm serious... I have over 40,000 gems.....)!

This is just one of the many games from beta that we have today. Doesn't the wolf look like a part of a movie before it was detailed?

This was were you could change the color of your animal and put on clothes. It doesn't look much different from today! The advantage of this though was that you could undo what you just added to your animal instead of taking more time and searching through the eyes you had before..

Update+new blog..?

Hi Jammers...

So, it has been a while... and I would like to clear things up. I did stop posting, but that doesn't mean that you all matter to me! Everyone who read this blog, and who are even reading it now, are super! I check up on my blog once in a while to see what's up, and I can't believe I have gotten over 11,000 VIEWS! That means so much to me. Anyways I would like to say that you have encouraged me to..... Drum roll please:

Moving on?

Hey Jammers!

Cutelittlewolf1 here, yesh I know it has been a SUPER long time. I just wanted to let you know that I have moved on from AJ, and I won't be posting anymore D: This doesn't mean that you should quit too! Animal Jam is a wonderful place to hang out and have fun in, but I have grown addicted to other games, such as Sims 3 :3 Don't worry, you can still see me blog in my new blog, about the Sims 3! I am not sure what it will be called or whatever (I haven't actually started to work on it >.<), but I will let you know in a new post when the site comes up :D Thanks for taking your time to read this!

No more posting!

Hi Jammers! I won't be able to post for the rest of the month because it uses up too much internet. For those of you who don't know, I have limited internet each month. I'll be also going on a road trip and I won't receive any internet connection. I'll be back on January 2nd and posting on January 4th. I'm sorry Jammers! I just need some time for myself too. New Update!

Heya Jammers! The new update is today! Here is the newspaper:

Pretty cool right? Anyways for the past few days I've been wondering.. Remember how in that post on AJHQ's blog they had a picture with that notebook thingy? Then snowyclaw (a terrific blogger) e-mailed them asking what it was. It was a task notebook! They said they were working on it and would release it sometime. But only question for me is, when? It's been a pretty long time since they showed the picture. So AJHQ do ya mind releasing it soon for Jammers? Anyways moving on. Here is the new clothing item:

Now look back at the newspaper pictures. Look at page 3. You see that weird circle in the middle? WELL IT'S TIERNY'S OCEAN WATCH! It's pretty cool! Check these pics:

I really liked it! I loved seeing the little fish dash across the screen. It was beautiful.

BTW guess what? I got 3 new glitches that happened to me! This is the first one:

(click to enlarge) So what happened this day was that I was in my friend's den. She was switching it a lot and then her tree house den and her small house den were combined! Then there were two of me and my friend O.O For the next glitch I didn't get any pictures because my power went out but anyways so my friend Lilliou22, appeared as my friend on her profile. But on my buddy list I couldn't find her name! It was just kinda spooky. And my last glitch happened today when I was purchasing the new reindeer horns. I bought several and then when I wanted to put one on.. They all appeared as if they were on me at the same time. It might be a little confusing to describe but you know when you are wearing an item and the box color is orange? Well they all were. Check out the pick:
